Overall, farmhouse kitchens do not have a lot of clutter.  They are designed to showcase the kitchen themselves, the beautiful sink, the earth tones, etc. and not items like blenders, toaster ovens and toasters.  Store these types of items in a cabinet or in the pantry.  While they do have a place in the functionality of farmhouse kitchens, you don’t want them to detract from the overall look of the space.
